Privacy & Policies of Use

Clause 1: Introduction:         

Based on the humanitarian and pioneering role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia towards the international community around the world, and sensing the importance of this influential role in alleviating the suffering of human beings to live a decent life, it initiated the establishment of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (the Center), to be an international center dedicated to relief and humanitarian work, its work was inaugurated in May 2015, under the guidance and generous patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, may God support him. The Center has established the Saudi International Volunteer Portal to enable individuals to participate and enroll in humanitarian programs and projects implemented by the Center outside the Kingdom.

In the interest of the Center for the data and information of the data subject, it is committed to maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of this data and using it to reach the desired level in providing the necessary service in accordance with the terms and conditions in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the use of Saudi International Volunteer Portal is an approval by the data owner of the portal's privacy policy.

Clause 2: Personal data and the purpose of its collection:

·         Personal data to be collected:

-                   Personal data used on the page ("Registration"), the page ("My Information") and the page ("Contact Us").

-                   Connection data, including data related to the device used to connect, such as the language of the device, the type of system and the type of browser.

·         This data is collected to create a user account through which the volunteer can apply for a volunteer program and view his/her volunteer history.

Clause 3: Data Collection and Storage:

·                 The data that the owner of the personal data provides through registration in the site is collected, and no personal data is collected from any third parties.

·                 Personal data is collected indirectly through cookies collected when you visit the website (cookies).

·                 Personal data is stored securely within the geographical boundaries of the Kingdom to ensure that the digital national sovereignty of such data is maintained. The Center seeks to follow the best standards and practices to ensure the security and protection of data, and the Center follows national regulations and instructions related to the destruction and disposal of personal data when the purpose of collecting it is no longer in need, or archiving it according to the duration of its preservation in a safe manner that prevents misuse or unauthorized access to it.

Clause 4: Usage and Sharing:

·         Personal data is used for the purposes specified in this policy, in addition to the statutory purposes stated in the Personal Data Protection Law.

·         The Center adheres to the data sharing policies and controls issued by the regulatory authorities and does not share personal data with any party outside the center except in accordance with the disclosure cases specified in the Personal Data Protection Law and its implementing regulations, whether by obtaining its prior consent or disclosure in accordance with the purposes and cases specified by the Law.

Clause 5: Legal basis for the collection and processing of personal data:

Personal data is collected and processed based on the consent of the personal data holder, and personal data will only be processed by those authorized to do so in accordance with their authority, and as determined by the policies adopted for this purpose, and failure to collect personal data may affect the data owner's ability to benefit from the services provided by the Center, and the data owner can withdraw his consent to collect and process his personal data at any time unless there is another legal basis, and to do so, you can communicate with the Centre.

Clause 6: Rights of the Personal Data Subject:       

·                 Right to know: The owner of personal data has the right to know the ways in which the Center collects its data, the legal basis for collecting and processing it, how to process, store and destroy it, and with whom it will be shared, and you can see all the details through the privacy policy - this policy - or you can contact us through the data described in the eighth clause.

·                 Right to access personal data: The owner of personal data has the right to request a copy of his personal data, by e-mail described in item eight, and will be provided to him - free of charge -, by e-mail.

·                 Right to rectification of personal data: The subject of personal data has the right to request the correction of his personal data that he considers inaccurate, incorrect or incomplete, by the e-mail described in item eight, and it will be reviewed and updated, and the personal data subject will be notified of this by e-mail.

·                 Right to destruction of personal data: The subject of personal data has the right to request the destruction of his personal data in certain circumstances unless there is a legal text specifying a specific retention period or contractual requirements.

·                 Right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data: The subject of personal data can withdraw consent to the processing of his personal data – at any time – unless there are legitimate purposes that require the opposite.

Clause 7: Exercising the Rights of the Personal Data Subject:       

The subject of personal data has the right to request access/correction/destruction of his/her data by contacting the Center's call center via e-mail Info@KSrelief.org.

Clause 8: Complaints and Inquiries:

In the event of a complaint or inquiry related to the privacy policy or dealing with personal data, the center's call center you can contact the Center via e-mail Info@KSrelief.org.

Clause 9: Privacy Policy Updates:    

The Center reserves the right to make amendments to this policy at any time, and these amendments are effective when published on the Center's website, and the continued use of the site and communication with the Center after these amendments is an acceptance of these changes, and therefore we recommend that you review the privacy policy periodically to ensure that you know the latest version of it, and the latest update of this policy 08/05/2025

Clause 10: Language adopted in the policy:

The Arabic language is the language approved in the application of the terms and conditions, and in the event of a dispute in the interpretation of any text contained in any other language, the text written in Arabic shall be adopted.
