About Campaign
The Saudi Volunteer Project for Specialized Surgeries is part of a series of volunteer medical campaigns funded and implemented by KSrelief around the world. These initiatives are being implemented under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, and further emphasize the Kingdom’s leading humanitarian role in alleviating the suffering of people around the world who are in need of specialized medical care. The “Saudi Volunteer Project for Specialized Surgeries” program utilizes the voluntary participation of distinguished medical cadres to provide beneficiaries in targeted countries with advanced medical procedures, comprehensive care and medications, all at no cost to the patients.
Goals of this Campaign
- Providing Free Healthcare: Offering specialized surgeries at no cost to patients who cannot afford treatment.
- Training Local Medical Staff: Transferring Saudi medical expertise to healthcare professionals in beneficiary countries to enhance their surgical capabilities.
- Promoting Saudi Arabia’s Humanitarian Role: Highlighting Saudi Arabia’s global humanitarian contributions through medical aid.
- Improving Quality of Life: Helping patients restore their health and regain the ability to live normal lives.
